2+2 eKYC

Fintechs and regulated financial services institutions can use Vouchsafe’s official data checks to onboard genuine customers instantly, without requiring any upfront identity or address evidence from them.

The process meets strict “2+2” rules.

The platform is certified to the UK DVS trust framework, making it a great fit for any business that has to follow the Money Laundering Regulations.

What does 2+2 mean?

It is a burden of proof defined by the Joint Money Laundering Steering Group.

To meet it, you need to find at least two independent records of a claimed identity, with at least one data point to cross-reference between them.

The classic example is a name plus date of birth matched in one database, and the same name plus address matched in a second.

Ask your Chief Risk Officer or MLRO if you need to meet 2+2.
